temperament. There are individuals and
families trying to locate a special rescue
sheepdog to welcome into their lives. The objective of this page is
to bring together Old English Sheepdog rescues and families looking to
adopt an OES.

rescue or a no-kill shelter for assistance. We need to
speak up for them so report neglect or abuse to your
local animal control, Humane Society or ASPCA. By working

control to see if by chance they have the
perfect sheepie for you. Also,
check the list of rescues provided below for an
OES rescue near you.
If none are
available, please visit
PetFinder
at the address below. You will find a
great listing of shelters and rescues offering
pets from around the country. In searching for
an Old English Sheepdog, use the following
"keyword phrases" under "BREED"- Old English
Sheepdog, Sheep Dog and occasionally Bearded
Collie. We have found sheepies in all of
these categories. You may also wish to do a
national search (under Search Range) if you are
willing to travel to get your new family member.
